METAL
SEPARATION

Conveyortek manufacture a wide range of CORE magnet metal separation and detection equipment for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The CORE range of products has been developed to work in industries such as recycling, quarrying & mining, crushing & screening, power generation, and many other processing applications.

PERMANENT
MAGNETS

Conveyortek’s range of CORE permanent magnets are designed for the extraction of ferrous metals use in a wide range of industries such as recycling, timber, mining, quarries and various mineral and bulk handling processes. All magnets are constructed of high strength strontium ferrite ceramic and are configured to achieve high extraction rates

ELECTRO MAGNETIC SEPARATORS

Suspended Electromagnetic Separators provide a very deep magnetic field for recovery of ferrous metals, promoting higher recovery rates.

A big advantage of an electromagnet is that magnetism ceases once the power supply is removed. This means the attracted objects can be released easily by turning off the power.

EDDY CURRENT
SEPERATORS

The advanced Conveyortek CORE Eddy Current Separator (ECS) is widely used in the recycling industry to separate valuable non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, copper and brass from a material stream.

All Conveyortek ECS units incorporate an eccentric rotor design, for separation efficiency, and the units are available in in widths from 300mm up to 2000mm and in various rotor strengths to suit all applications. An optional drum magnet can be added to include the extraction of ferrous materials.

METAL
DETECTION

Conveyortek’s award-winning high-performance conveyor metal detector protects plant machinery and equipment by detecting unwanted metals from a conveyed stream of materials.

Conveyortek’s conveyor metal detector can self-calibrate and, uniquely, can ignore steel cable belts and rip detection systems, while still detecting rogue metal pieces. The metal detector uses pulse detection technology to detect ferrous metals such as mild steel, carbon steel, cast and wrought iron and non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminium and brass.
